Dear Shannon,
Thank you for the update. I’ve wondered what you’ve been up to.
Here’s a brief recap of my break thus far:
- Cried a little bit watching Maury— you would have made fun of me had you been there.
- Heard all about how AMAZING Up is. My brother even admitted to getting a little bit “misty”
- Went on 2 hikes with my parents
- Scratched Rusty’s tummy ~1000 times
- Took awful cell phone pictures in an attempt to capture Rusty’s cuteness but failed miserably
- Yesterday I went with my dad to Costco to get a new digital camera for Egypt. So far we’ve taken about 100 pictures of Rusty and about 3 pictures of humans. I’m considering buying one of these cameras for myself to enhance our blogging abilities.
- Started a blog with my Mom for Rusty. therustman.tumblr.com
- Got an A+ in Latin American Music. I’m considering changing majors. I have a gift and I can’t deny it any longer. Wayno Forever.
- Changed my URL to my blog. I’m not sure Accio Sarah is working out for me.
- Today I’m going into Oakland to have lunch with my Dad at our favorite Vietnamese restaurant Pho 84. I plan to have the marinated beef with imperial rolls over special rice and salad. And a mango milkshake.
- Watched the entire True Blood season with my parents and watched the premiere of season 2 with my brother. I laughed EVERY time Bill said “Sookie,” and thought of you. And cried a bit at the end. Yeah, yeah, I know. (ps I love Eric too :)
- Took the Lexus in to see if my brakes need changing, and they don’t!!
- Got a smog check
- Renewed my passport
- Got a haircut
